CSO REPORTING AND CONTROL

 

Web-based dashboard provides:

  • CSO Status: allowing allowing users to easily identify issues to be resolved without processing huge amounts of data
  • Incident Reports: specific incidents including the volume and duration of CSO spills
  • Historic level data visualisation: with the option to export this data to other systems

HOW DOES CSO MONITORING WORK?

 

A full function Remote Telemetry Unit capable of detection of various level incidents and sudden rate of change of level monitors the CSO asset using an industry-standard ultrasonic sensor.

Incidents are reported in real time and all data collected is returned via GSM data or GPRS to the central system on a configurable basis for display and analysis.

A simple to use reporting facility is provided which can be accessed anywhere using a standard web browser.

CSO data is converted into meaningful status information which can be easily extracted for further use.

Typical Configuration

During low flows a level measurement is taken every 15 minutes, the value is saved in RTU’s memory.

RTU transfers data to telemetry control system e.g. Palette once a day.

RTU also reports on exception. When pre-set levels are exceeded an alarm is sent (via email or SMS) & the RTU dynamically trends taking data readings at frequent intervals e.g. every minute.

Data transfer is more frequent too in ‘alarm’ state.

This allows the flow event to be captured and the RTU battery power used when it is most needed.

Most importantly it allows the end user, to view data in near real time and manage their business accordingly.

ADVANCED CSO TELEMETRY

 

Unlike simple data logger technology, we provide a range of incident detection features to deliver
better and more proactive CSO monitoring, including:

  • Four discrete level alarms allowing earlier detection of overflow problems
  • An optional rate of change alarm, allowing detection of sudden changes in level trends
  • Monitoring of battery voltage, ambient temperature and communications network signal
  • One month’s emergency data storage for use inthe event of a communications network failure
